Shenandoah Sunrise
A woodsy cabin on top of Massanutten Mountain in Virginia, with views over the Shenandoah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Why I Recommend It
We spent four days here, and it was the perfect base for the national park: hikes during the day, the sunrise from the deck in the morning, and plenty of time for conversations with the squirrels.
I love being in the US, and this is the kind of place that reminds me why: big nature, wide views and nowhere you have to be.
